Pet Sitter in Jackson, Michigan

I have been working with animals since I was a kid! I grew up with chickens, ducks, fish, a rabbit, 8 dogs, and 5 cats. At the age of 14 I started working with shelter animals which mostly consisted of cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and on a rare chance birds and a bearded dragon. The current pets I have now that I live locally are a dog, cat, and a rat. This far at 17 I have not had a job outside of the animal field and wish to continue pursuing my passion of animal behavior and training. I can offer many different things, Just ask! At home grooming.(no hair cuts) Pet walking. Feeding. Giving medications.(no needles) Pet sitting. Minor training during pet sitting/walks. Excersize. Enrichment. I am looking for hopefully consistent part-time work primarily on the weekends but my schedule becomes more flexible during school breaks. Typically I am available Mon-Thu from 5:30pm-7:30pm and Sat&Sun 8:30am-7:00pm :) I am young and able to keep up with your energetic pets, all while making sure they get everything they need and then some! I have around 2 years of experience working at Cascades Humane Society as an animal attendant and about 1 year of experience working Crossroads Pet Resort. I do not cut pet hair and I do not give any kind of medication that requires a needle. If you have a dog or cat in need of my services they MUST be up to date on their rabbies vaccine, heartworm prevention, and flea&tick prevention WITH reliable proof from your vetrenarian or a license. I do use my own grooming equipment, treats, etc but if prefered I will use any tools provided. My grooming tools are cleaned regularly between client use with hot water, a pick comb, and dawn soap.
