Feed, water, clean kennels and cages, administer medications, baths, light grooming, assist professional groomers, proper holds and restraints, draw blood, perform blood, urine, fecal and skin scrape tests, cytology, hematology and parasitology, use and reading of microscope and other lab test results, surgery preparation, assist with surgeries, clean after surgeries, assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians, overall sanitation, cleanliness and maintenance of hospital facility, customer service, prescription filling, inventory, ordering, stocking, wildlife rehabilitation in home, foster animals, assist with euthanasia, vaccine administration, managerial duties such as "acting manager" when lead veterinary technician was not in office and/or occupied with other duties, train prospective kennel staff candidates (up to 3 simultaneously) and use of company software. Senior Kennel Assistant Job duties: Overall care of animals (both patients and boarders).
