Just drop me a message and let's talk! --ABOUT SARAH (OWNER, SITTER & PET CARE WORKER)-- My name is Sarah, I'm 33 years old and I have been an animal lover my whole life as well as have extensive experience with a wide variety of animal species. Currently, I own an 8-year-old yellow Labrador named Mumble who thinks he's a 10-pound lap dog. ;) But over the past 20 years, I've personally owned multiple dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, aquarium fish, horses, goats, chickens, etc. I am an online part-time university student (so the only time I am not available for pet care appointments is when I'm caring for other pets or dealing with personal meetings). As an online student I'm studying business management so I can expand Smiley Pet Care into a legally registered pet care and dog walking business in hopes of making it my main job and source of income. --UNRELATED RANDOM TIDBITS ABOUT SARAH-- Just for fun here are a few random tidbits about me and my daily life if you'd like to know more about the sort of person who could be taking care of your pets in the future! For the most part, my hobbies include surfing the Internet for good deals on pet products (especially toys and puzzles!), particularly on Etsy (I love homemade merchandise!). I also frequent my library for dog training manuals as I like to teach my lab Mumble something new and exciting (yes, even old dogs can learn new tricks!). I read the latest issue of one of the many magazine subscriptions I have gotten recently (interior design, fashion design, European monarchy gossip, vegan living, mindfulness, and psychiatric health, equine training, and dog training happen to be a few of my favs...). I also experiment in vegan baking, cooking, and household living, as well as try out recipes for homemade dog treats, cookies and raw meals for my pooch. When I have time, I read historical fiction novels and biographies on current European monarchies, I might also watch something on the History Channel, BBC, Netflix, or ESPN (I am a HUGE sporting buff!). Usually, all this is procrastinating from clearly being in bed on time as I plan to be up and out of bed by 4 AM while having a mug of my favorite flavor of coffee or tea and then start working towards mastering one of my many Ballet, Pilates, or Yoga exercise DVDs (I have quite an extensive collection!). I am also actively training for my first half marathon; whenever I feel that I'm physically and mentally ready to take it on. (My dog Mumble would be a great running buddy if he didn't always complain about walking the 50 feet to the mailbox every day! Lazybones! ;) ) Especially when it's raining. *sigh* I have a water dog who can't stand to get wet! Go figure! *shrug* :) Mumble, and I hope to hear from you soon!
