Qualifications: 3 years veterinary assistant experience (2008-20...) Bachelors of Science degree (2014) 2 years nanny experience (2015-20...) From a young age, I have always been around and connected with animals. As a child, I introduced our family dog as my brother. As I grew older, neighbors and family friends began to ask me to pet sit for their animals. This included a farm with horses, cattle, and chickens as well as more typical house pets like cats and dogs. My first job was at a local veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant. I have experience administering subcutaneous fluids, insulin, oral medications, and other common, at home medications. I am comfortable with almost all animals, including ones with difficult/untrusting personalities (just please don't ask me to snuggle with your tarantula!). Currently, I care for two guinea pigs, Harry and Neville, and befriend any dog or cat that I see walking the neighborhood.
