Pet Sitter in Bronx, New York

I am looking for 2 days a week to start with. If that is possiable. I can only work in the bronx to start with. At one time i served as an americorps vista . At NIDC in the Bronx from 2006- 20.... In between these years worked privately as a care giver to the elderly. While at care giving between the years of serving people took a pet rescue course and earned a certificate in pet rescue. In 2011 was at co op city working on a serious case of animal abuse. Look up The Daily News 2010 0r 2011 The Rose Kaufmen case. I am there. About two years or so after that a lead rescuer in the bronx. We worked to save 15 catsfrom animal abuse. Someone didn't like cats in her nieghborhood and poisoned cats. In 2015 i had to walk away from that project due to illness in family. I have quite alot of experiance with mostly cats. I would be able to socialize kittens if they are young enough. Before 8 weeks old if they have not ever had the human touch. As i am still after two years trying to work with one of my male cats to allow me to touch him. Animals have a back story, no two are alike. I could go on and on about myself and my experience. Talking playing careing for an animal is my thing. I love animals and animals know when you like them. Many people know me in my community and people still ask me questions about our community of cats that live outside. If people think for a moment that this is an easy job it isn't. It is a hard job because you have to be out in all kinds of weather. It is mostly on the lead cats job to keep the coloney safe.
