A dog has always been a family member since I can remember. Thank God for loving parents who believed in bringing all kinds of pets in our home. We had birds, hamsters, and even the occasional snake or frog from the yard! There is a certain bond you get from a dog that you cannot get from any other animal, though...& I am lucky enough to have experienced that. My parents have their own rescue kitty and my sitter's family are happy owners of 3 felines and even a gerbil! As you can see we are a lover of all animals! About 2.5 years ago we rescued our own pup, Buddy, who had actually escaped the P......R.'s kennels to find his own home....well he found us...and it was love at first site! We found out he belonged to Pender Endangered Animal Rescue and immediately adopted him!! Since rescuing Buddy our family "farm" has grown into a flock of chickens we raised from a day old. And now we are planning on expanding our flock! After seeing just how many animals have each and their own special needs, I decided to start pet sitting to keep animals out of kennels and in a happy environment where they feel safe and comfortable and loved 24/7 while their families are away. Well that has now expanded into a business that now covers the Southeast Coast of NC, the greater Raleigh area, & Myrtle Beach, SC!
