My name is Kim Pevaroff and I have lived in the Asheville area since December 2012. I moved here from St. Petersburg, FL, having worked as a child welfare social worker for over 25 years, where I also volunteered to rescue pets that were in unfavorable family situations. Animals have always been my passion as their love is so unconditional,and they are so forgiving to us humans. I’ve been pet sitting since age 10 and now, having retired from social work, have decided to pursue pet sitting, dog walking and related pet services full time under the name Pawfect Pet Lovers Care. I currently have one awesome active dog named Chloe who I like to take to the dog park and hiking regularly, and I’ve had many other pets in the past including dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, an iguana, hamsters, rabbits, and a horse. I have rescued birds, cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, and reptiles -fostering them to good health and then finding good permanent homes for them with the help of friends and my old vet in St. Petersburg, FL. I am bonded and insured, a certified Professional Pet Sitter through NAPPS, am certified in dog/cat first aid/CPR and belong to several organizations geared toward pet sitting, pet rescue and adoption, and animal welfare. Services provided include: pet visiting, dog walking, overnight care, 24 hour care, dog park/hiking outings, pet transportation, pet waste removal, cage/tank cleaning, basic dog bathing, light housekeeping, house sitting, and special requests.
