I moved to Rochester NY about 3 years ago and will be continuing to pet sit in the area under the name PetPal NY. I had been pet sitting in Maine prior to my move to New York and am now pleased to say that PetPal NY is a full time endeavor. I am the owner and operator, so you can be comfortable knowing that your pet is in loving and caring hands, every time! I have experience working at IDEXX Labs if Veterinary Diagnostic Care for 2 years and have a passion for caring for domestic animals. I have also worked in kennels, dog grooming salons and dog shelters to provide care and knowledge of various topics and breeds. I am a professional obedience trainer and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, offering testing and certifications to the public. I am also a proud pet owner! I have worked with Kristen for two years. Initially, I engaged her services for daily walks for my senior dog. His quality of life improved so much, from the daily contact and affection. After about 9 months, he passed away and Kristen was compassionate and extremely supportive. I did not imagine getting a new dog quickly, but two months later I adopted a shelter dog, and have subsequently adopted another "special needs" dog; an amputee. Both of my boys love Kristen and seeing her is a highlight of their days. My larger dog is an energetic and strong fellow, who Kristen guides in good leash behavior. I trust Kristen in my home and with my pets. She has become an important extension of our family and is flexible with scheduling and has even assisted in emergencies, such as when I was locked outside of my home. She provides consistent care, affection and loving instruction to her clientele and I would recommend her services wholeheartedly.
