The first thing about me is that I absolutely love dogs and animals. I recently moved into an apartment in the East Village with my friend who also loves and has experience with animals. My dog recently passed away, and I remember how stressful it was to find a home for him to stay in when I had to travel, and I don't think anyone should have to face that stress. I am warm, caring person with a comfortable home with a private and quiet 900 Square Foot fenced backyard which any dog would love. I have experience working with all dogs, and dogs with special needs. I adopted my dog when he was 12 years old and deaf, and loved and took care of him until he was 18 and also blind and incontinent at that point. I have worked in animal protection and animal welfare legislation for years (filing and passing laws in my home state of Massachusetts) because animals are such a huge part of my life. I'd love the opportunity to take care of your pet, and I hope that you will let me. I know I could take great care of them and give them my full attention and care while they stay with me.
