My name is Emily Newell and I am a 2017 graduate from the University of Washington with a degree in Environmental Science and Resource Management. I am very experienced working with animals, both due to owning pets since the age of 7 as well as working as an intern at University Canine Learning Academy (see the about us section on ucladogs.....) in Seattle, WA for three years. While an intern at the training studio, I gained many hours of experience in the training and handling of dogs. In addition, I was a pet sitter and dog walker for Hot Diggity! Pet Sitting Dog Walking in 2015. Unfortunately, the company ceased operations in Seattle due to shifts in management and therefore I was not able to work at the company very long. I have now moved to Phoenix, AZ and hope to continue working with animals as a pet sitter while I'm here. In addition to dogs, I have extensive knowledge with cats. I am also quick to learn in the care of other small animals as needed!
