About Me: Hello my name is Melinda . I'm looking for dog training opportunities in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. I am committed to force-free training that is enjoyable for both dog and handler. My availability is flexible. I also provide petsitting on a limited basis. I welcome small dogs (under 35 pound) who are dog-friendly. I do not use corrections on visiting dogs or my own dogs. Visiting dogs must be crate trained (for mealtimes); most of the time, they have free run of the house (including furniture) with frequent supervised trips to the fully fenced backyard. Services And Training: I have been the owner/trainer at Fun With Fido since 2001. Prior to that, I worked in an animal shelter and apprenticed with two other trainers. My training is science-based and always takes into account the dog's emotions. I offer agility, behavior training, manners, obedience, tricks, and service dog training.
