Hello there, My name is Kali I run a small dog sitting business from my home. I never have more than 5 dogs at a time (2 of which are mine. a 7 pound Japanese Chin and a 25 pound Shih Tzu mix ) I have experience with all breeds of dogs from the smallest lap pups in the world (the chihuahua) to the large, robust, intelligent guard dogs of Russia ( Black Russian Terriers) I do not discriminate against breeds and am very patient with puppies and young, or overly enthusiastic dogs. I love them all. Your dog would get 2-3 walks a day (more if needed). There is a park nearby my house where I can take your dog to romp and play if you would like. I do 1 15 min training session per day with all the dogs in my care, it keeps them engaged and prevents destructive behavior from stress and boredom. I have one on one time with all the dogs every day. I can watch your dog for up to a month. I treat your dog as I would my own, they are loved and cuddled, brushed daily, and any instructions you leave are followed to prevent unnecessary stress. If I have your dog for more than 1 week, they are bathed, blow dried, brushed, teeth cleaned and nails trimmed the day before pick-up, unless otherwise instructed. Also, If you have a super pampered pooch who is accustomed to going to the groomer for a trim of a longer coat, there is a wonderful little pet salon that does great work and is simply wonderful with the dogs that come into the shop. I could bring them there while you are away. I only kennel in three situations: 1. If there is an emergency and i will have to leave (very, very rare), 2. I am instructed otherwise by the owner. 3. AM and PM feeding times, to prevent fights. Even if a dog is fine at home, they can react quite differently in a different environment. I can give medication if your pet requires it. I love watching my clients dogs and the dogs enjoy all the walks and play as well. I have a few rules, both for you and your animals best interest and me and my animals: 1. your dog must have all vaccinations if over the age of 9 months old. 2. your dog must be licensed or have some other form of state or city issued identification. 3. your dog must be non aggressive with other dogs. I am located near SDSU, on College Ave. I charge $20 per day per dog under 70 pounds and $25 per day per dog over 70 pounds. no extra for overnight or grooming.
