Overview: Hey my name is Shelli. I'm interviewing for a cat sitter job in Lillington, North Carolina. I promise to be knowledgeable, exceptional employee. Flexible scheduling for clients, during the day. Services And Training: I have experience with caring for sick animals, litterbox maintenance, minor grooming if your cats need it and tolerate it from me. I also have personal transportation available. I have experience as a pet sitter. I moved to NC in 2007, from Virginia. I owned my own pet sitting business before moving which grew very quickly. Word of mouth is powerful, and what started with walking one dog to over 250 clients. I had to hire two people to assist. I had my own set of paperwork, including but not limited to a pet care form to review everything regarding visits, schedule, what you need done, all details about your pet - what they like or don’t like, feeding, etc. I will not take responsibility for outdoor cats. Indoor cats only, and at minimum one sit per day. Cats can get themselves in big trouble very quickly and I want to see them every day to make sure they are ok. I had a specific client contract, which included client must speak to me before leaving, electronic means can fail. The client must contact me upon returning home, or I would keep providing care. Things happen, maybe client got stuck in traffic, or their flight was late. I would continue care until I hear from the client. I also can provide notes at your home specifying how the sit went, and/or pictures, texts, etc during the sit. We can communicate by text or phone. I was bonded and insured and took pet first aid classes. I’ve chosen to only take on cats now, I cannot drive at night, but daytime? I’m your girl. I am in the process of setting up all of those requirements now. Personal I currently have seven cats. I used to have two dogs and ten cats, but lost both dogs and three cats. My most recent left this world (lymphoma) on April 11th. She was my constant companion, my shadow. Her name was Padfoot. I have had mice as pets, and also cared for a chinchilla.
