Pet Sitter in Mesa, Arizona

I have much experience with beloved fur friends. I have been a Kennel Tech at an animal hospital in the pet resort area which housed dogs for; day care, extended "vacation" time, grooming, rehabilitation from illness or surgery as well as rescue dogs from AZ Rescue. I've done everything from wrestled a 150 lb Great Pyrenees into bath time to cuddled away the frightened shaking of a tiny tea cup chihuahua puppy. In the Cat Room one must be a brave soul to clean out the cage, provide food and water and/or medicate and angry and scared cat lol! But I never even got scratched because I know how to tame those wild beasties with lots of love, soft words and CATNIP :) (a mischievous girl kitty did once push a planter off a shelf above me which almost broke my nose tho lol) I am somewhat of a Dog Whisperer. I've had a special connection with animals, especially dogs ever since I was a child. I have been training my own dogs as well as other peoples dog's since I was about nine years old when I got my first puppy. I've had a dog(s) and or cat(s) in my household ever since. I've even taught my cat to sit on command and ask to be let out for potty lol... No kitty litter boxes in my house. I am happy to board in my own home as well. I have a large yard. I am right across from the canal which is a great place to walk dogs. We do have four dogs here already but that's just more fun for the dogs. Mine love the company and making new friends! I have had up to seven dogs here at one time (dog-sitting 2 and one was a foster) and have never had a problem with the dogs getting along. Dogs are social creatures and if your dog gets along with others he or she would probably love the opportunity to be a part of a "pack" and play all day with others. Also I have worked as a kennel tech and am familiar with observing dogs and evaluating how the dogs are interacting with each other. We have several large dog crates/cages which I never shut a dog in but leave open with comfortable pillows and blankets as "safe places" for the dogs if they are feeling overwhelmed at any time. We keep several dog nests/comfy spots around the house in each of the living spaces and the dogs are as welcome on the furniture as people are lol. I work only four days a week during the day and my boyfriend works at night so there is always someone home. He LOVES animals too. I am more than happy to show you around our place and let you meet our buddies so you can judge for yourself if your dog will feel happy and safe while staying with us.
