Hello, my name is Sara Schmidt. I am 32 yrs old and don't have any children, therefor I use my unconditional love for the benefit of my 13 yr old cat, Puddy, who is my child, life and heartbeat. I have been an animal lover my whole life. Grew up in the country on a small farm. We've had chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, rabbits and all kinds of hamsters, gerbils and rats. My family took in every stray that wandered to us. I am on the verge of entering a certification program for a Veterinarian Assistant. I absolutely love every kind of animal ( i once rescued an opossum that was hit by a car) I have tremendous patience and love for our furry life-mates. My heart goes out to neglected and abused animals. I have volunteered at ASPCA in Austin where I used to live, giving attention and affection to cats that were feral and troubled to help make them more adoptable. I am encouraged by any challenges. I have been a waitress and customer service specialist in most of my jobs, which have enabled me to be very productive and level-headed during stressful moments. Bad or troubled behavior doesn't faze me. I adore my own pet even through her own " bad behavior." Being able to help others with their own pets is my true dream and soon to be reality. I was born with a deep intuition and wisdom on how to react and care for most animals.
