Pet Sitter in Washington, District of Columbia

Live-in Housesitter based in DC -proper & Jersey City available for my next sit beginning in late July. My life so far has taken me overseas for school and for work- Italy, France, Switzerland, and Spain- and made me as comfortable in rural Vermont as in NYC. Raised working on a small family farm, I am experienced caring for horses, sheep, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, cats, dogs, and the odd llama. I'm happy to care for your exotic pet, too! (Please no illegal animals; no spiders; no live feedings.) Chinchillas are a favorite! If you have a summer veggie garden, house plants, landscaped yard, sunroom, or aquatic plants, I've got savvy to tend and care for them, too. You will have peace of mind with me taking care of your home since I know how to handle those unfortunate emergencies: I know when to throw circuit breakers, shut off water valves, and use a fire extinguisher. Having worked for colleges and high school programs to care for residential and theatrical facilities, I'm happily capable to deal with the unfortunate emergency to protect your home, your belongings, and your property value. I love a project, and am open to suggested gigs. Need to have contractors in while you're away and need it managed? Want a garden full of produce when you return home?
