Pet Sitter in Ware, Massachusetts

I am very passionate about animals. I believe it is important for them to be happy, active and well socialized. I have owned animals and have been responsible for their welfare all of my life. I have owned horses, lizards, fish, ferrets and birds in the past. I currently own two young Pointers, and a cat. My dogs are both successful pheasant hunters who I trained myself. I started work at a boarding kennel over nine years ago: I groomed dogs and took care of boarded dogs, cats and horses. I also worked at a 4-H camp as a counselor and spent much of my time there caring for the livestock. I have also worked at multiple horse barns which included general care, grooming and assistance in lesson and show programs. I have dog, horse, cat and bird sat for multiple families. I attended Umass Amherst for an Equine Industries degree. I took classes on animal care, welfare and animal science classes. I am comfortable with administering medications and injections. I can also groom: bathe, brush, clip hair and nails.
