Hello! My name is Shana (pronounced Shay-Na) and I'm a certified vet assistant! What does that mean? I'm no vet, but I have experience medicating animals, and I can also recognize some signs of potential illness or problems which gives me the ability to be more on the ball than someone without training. I'm also certified in pet CPR and first aid, and I've got the signed card if you'd like to see it. Now that we've got some of the health and safety bits over, I'll tell you a little more about myself. First off, I'm a huge animal lover. I have dedicated my life to help them. I volunteer with the Dakin Humane Society and I also foster sick animals. I have four cats (Littles, Snacks, Cooper, and Shinsuke) and a dog (Rupert). They are the loves of my life. I have experience walking difficult AND strong dogs. Additionally, I may be able to help with poor leash walkers and other small behavioral problems. Please note that I am not a professional trainer, but I have experience with positive reinforcement training with my own pup! I am happy to walk your dog (or cat, or mini pig, or whatever you may have), spend time with them, and do overnight stays. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll let you know if I can do it. I cannot board animals in my home and I have minimal experience grooming. Please note my hourly rate is a base price.
