Hello! I am Crystal, an 18 year old looking to help out any family with pet care! I love working with animals from birds, dogs and cats and always up to care for others. I used to be a proud owner of a 7 year old, hyper, lab/hound mix until my fiance and I moved to here, Jacksonville, NC. She is currently with my parents now since we are out of state. I have taken care of her for about 7 years and know how to bathe, administer medication and clip toenails of dogs. I have also taken care of my friends cat for a while as well, I know how to clean out a litter box, feed them and play with cats. I also used to be an owner of a Parakeet named Sammy, I had her for about 12 years, so I also know how to change the water and feed as well as clean the cage if needed. I am welcome to provide in-home care to your furry family members whether it is in your home or my own. I am looking for either part-time or full-time care and am willing to go as far as 5-10 miles to help! I can take care of dogs of all sizes, as well of birds of all types and cats as well. If you are away for a trip or vacation I will make sure to keep you posted on your animal and ask questions when needed. I am also very close to a park where I can always take your animal for a walk, as well as we have a little backyard for them to just stretch their legs if they need to. In our home is my fiance and I, as well as another couple and love animals just as much as we do! The downstairs is all hardwood, but we have a couple carpets down. The upstairs, including the stairs, and our room, is all carpet. We always keep our home very clean and would love to have more experience on how animals are in our home! I would prefer if your animal is house-broken and is not teething though, if they are to receive overnight care in our home. Otherwise I am always available to visit and feed and walk your beloved friend! I am also available for last minute bookings unless I am taking care of another family! I personally, at the moment, do not have any animals in our home and am usually home at all times. I also do not have any dog/cat food, bowls, leashes, collars, shampoo, nail clippers, litter-box, puppy-pads, toys, beds, bird seed, cages, etc. so I would need to know in advanced if I am to pick up any of these things, as well as I am willing to work from late morning to overnight. I would like to at minimum be paid $10-$15 per hour/visit, depending. I also charge at least $15 for a 30-min walk and $30 for a 60-min walk. For overnight care in your home; $35 per night. In my home; $50 per night. For just washing/bathing; $15. For just pet-care in my own home; $25 per day. I do have reliable transportation and can care for up to three animals at a time. For larger dogs, I would prefer, if they are to stay in my home, to be dropped off at my home because I do not own a large car. I will be happy to get all the food and supplies your pup/kitty/bird needs to make sure that I get the job done efficiently.
