Caring for animals and making them feel at ease while their family is away is a passion of mine. I have years of experience caring for a variety of animals (companion animals/ pets, livestock, exotics, and wildlife). I received professional training and experience in animal care, nutrition, and veterinary medical care while working at two zoos while attending college for Wildlife Biology in Minnesota and most recently while working for three years at the San Diego Humane Society in San Diego, CA as a medical care technician. I not only have experience with a broad range of species and breeds, but also experience handling cats and dogs of varying behavior types and those with medical conditions. I am able to administer medications and subcutaneous fluids to your pet if necessary.
