Pet Sitter in Methuen, Massachusetts

My name is Katie and I have recently started pet/house sitting simply through word of mouth. Since that is taking off, I figured maybe I should continue on with it and keep it constant. I just finished grad school and am looking for a teaching job - but while that is still a work in progress, I am trying to eliminate the stress of finding someone trustworthy to stay with your pride and joys, to the extent that you need, while making money doing something I truly enjoy. I have nannied for the past 8 or so years, so if parents trust me with their children, I'd like to go out on the limb and say I can be trusted with your pets! I have a family dog, named Lilly - she's 11 and we rescued her from GA when she was 9 months and in a shelter. She is the sweetest lab mix. Not only do I have the day to day experience, as I have mentioned... I have had a few pet sitting opportunities recently ranging from: Dog sitting 4 dogs, plus a neighbor's that was dropped off during the day (live-in... twice). The dog's needs ranged from lack of ability to walk, needing diapers, and medication multiple times a day. No dog was of the same breed and covered the size spectrum. Dog sitting 3 dogs, one 3-legged cat, and fish (live-in). There was a golden retriever and two poodle mixes. The dogs were walked, fed twice a day, played with, and some slept with me and others in the crate. The cat was fed twice a day and needed medication to be cut and mashed. The fish were fed once a day. Bunny sitting. The bunny was easy and I went over to the house and fed the bunny lettuce, a treat, and it's regular dry food and made sure water was in the bottle still. Cat sitting (live-in). This cat was low maintenance, as it was afraid of humans, and needed dry food once a day and I made sure the water was fresh and full. I kept up with the litter box daily and did a complete change halfway through the week. I hope your pet is cuddly! (just an added bonus) Feel free to inquire and ask for references!
