Hello : ) I provide reliable, attentive pet care for any species of companion. I can board your cat or small critter, or home-sit your pets. I believe non-human creatures deserve all the love and care we can give them. When we meet for an interview, I'll make sure I understand how best to care for the non-human members of your family. My family bred Spaniels for years, so I started pet-sitting with a good deal of experience with dogs of different temperaments and ages, as well as basic daily care including daily grooming, dog-walking, administration of medicines and reacting calmly and quickly in an emergency. I love everything about cats and their individuality and individual quirks. I've been a cat owner whenever possible and so have experience caring for them while properly respecting their right to be worshipped when and only when desired. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, chickens, small mammals, reptiles and indoor birds. I've now been pet-sitting for nearly two years. I will happily give you references : ). I'm looking for a regular PT or temporary FT job (i. e. care during vacation or business travel) in order to make a living doing something I enjoy and find innately rewarding. I am a trained Massage Therapist and earned a BA in Comparative Lit/Philosophy in 2005. My schedule is very flexible, and I'm fine with children and with treating your home with respect.
