Pet Sitter in Wilton, Connecticut

Hi there. My name is Kate. I am a Fairfield County based pet sitter, dog walker, and house sitter. I am a local resident of both Wilton, Connecticut and Lakeville, Connecticut, and love all creatures great and small. My love for animals began in childhood when my father brought home our first German Shepard puppy. It has continued throughout the years (roughly 22 or so). I am an avid lover of dogs, cats, birds, horses, guinea pigs, aquatic creatures, and primates to name just a few. Aside from being a long time pet owner, I participated in an apprenticeship at Wilton Hospital for Animals during the summers throughout my high school career. I learned to care for an assortment of animals during this training and also became well adept at administering medical regimens to dogs and cats. I also walked, fed, watered, socialized, and cleaned the animals surroundings. I also became skilled at the bathing and light grooming dogs (brushing coat, cleaning ears and eyes, as well as nail clipping.). I currently do not own any pets of my own, but frequently take care of my three brothers dogs: Stella (female Irish Setter; 6 yrs. old), Bella (female 8.5 yr. old St. Bernard), Sister (13 yr. old black lab) and Nellie (a spunky little mixed female terrier rescued during the recent flooding in Houston, Texas.) My services extend to dogs of all breeds, as well as the previously mentioned pets (cats, etc.) I have spent time voluntarily at the Humane Society in addition.
