Pet Sitter in Haverhill, Massachusetts

Hi there! I was excited to find this website and see that there's a place for animal lovers to care for other people's pets! I've loved animals since I was a kid - I had dogs, cats, and pigeons/chickens growing up, and cared for cows and sheep on local farms when the owners were away. I don't own a dog, but I grew up with a sweet white shepherd named King, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago. My sister has a little mini dachshund, who I adore, as well. I am from Maine originally, and when I lived there I spent a year or so volunteering at the local shelter, taking pups out for walks, bathing them, cleaning the area they slept in, and just spending time with them. I live in a fairly rural area of Haverhill with my boyfriend of 3 years. When we moved in together, I had two cats and he had three, so we now have have five. They're fine with dogs, as long as the pups aren't aggressive toward them - we've watched my sister's pup and his sister's lab in our home. We live in the bottom section of a big old house with plenty of space, have a big yard, and are right across from a giant cemetery that's perfect for walking dogs. I'm on disability (I have gastroparesis/digestive paralysis), and I'm free to stay with your dog or have them stay here (right now I prefer to board smaller dogs who are fairly calm, to avoid issues with our kitties) any time. I love being outside. I forage for mushrooms during the spring, summer, and fall, and really enjoy exploring new trails and woodsy areas. I would absolutely love to take care of your pup!
