Pet Sitter in Shoreline, Washington

I'm an
Individual
Hello!!! My name is Felicia, but a lot of people refer to me as Frankie so you're free to call me that as well! I'm in desperate need of a sitter by the end of August for my 2 old boys. Brian (12) and Stewie (13). They have been my bestest boys for 10 years. They are absolutely my everything, my rocks, my kids if you will. (Yorkshire Terriers by the way!) Some background, I recently moved to Shoreline. I was afraid my dogs wouldn't be suitable for the apartment I'm living in. (My roommate has a cat, they can be pretty yappy, they're getting old so they need to be taken out frequently, they also need a regularized diet.) But, after living here for nearly a month now, I realized... My life isn't full and complete without them. I need them as much as they need me. So they will be moving in at the end of August and I am so, so happy. I can't take care of them myself, however, or at least not the entire day. Some things about my dogs. Brian, he is 12 years old. He has lost most of his teeth now. He doesn't have a big problem chewing his food, since he still has his molars, but I don't want him to have to work to nourish himself. So I do have a certain way I prepare their food. They've been eating their dry kibble their entire lives, so I don't want to switch out now. I take their dry kibble, soak it in hot water and add chicken broth. Let it sit for a bit and you can mash it and stir it up. That way Brian can lap it up. Brian has high anxiety toward other animals. He doesn't get along with dogs or cats. But other than that, he truly is a really good dog. Stewie is 13 years old. A little overweight but an old man nonetheless. Stewie is half blind and almost all deaf. He usually just sleeps all day nowadays. I would like him to go outside though at least once a day. Stewie has all his teeth but he'll get jealous seeing Brian eat anything different, so best better feed him the same thing! Stewie also licks a LOT so if you don't like it, it's ok to push his head away, he'll get the hint eventually. He can't hold his bladder too long, so take them out at least every hour and a 1/2 or 2 hours. He can be a little mischievous--watch your own food! Stewie loves all people, a little yappy with dogs but doesn't mind them. He doesn't mind the cat either. He's kind of socially awkward though, so I wouldn't have him near any dogs or cats without me because he likes to lunge and doesn't understand that that scares the other animal. Some more background on them, I got them when they were 2 and 3. They hadn't learned ANY basic commands or have been potty training. I practically trained, already-adult, dogs. Which was difficult to keep up. I ended up homeless for half a year and I don't trust that my immediate family had kept up with their training. So they are a little rusty at a lot of things. If you have any questions and if my dogs seem like big ol' characters to you and you want a part in their quirky lives, please shoot me a message! We'll talk more and if I like ya, my dogs will like ya too! Thanks for reading all this, it truly is important. They will be registered with a vet before you start watching them, so I'll have the information later.
