Pet Sitter in East Northport, New York

Hello! My name is Tess. I am 32 years old and for the past 7 yrs i have been working as a flight attendant. I had to take a break due to injuring my knee, so now that I am on disability, my schedule has opened up greatly and I can be available at any time, either day, night or even both (if needed). I’m located in Suffolk, NY but do not mind a bit of a drive. I have experience with animals by not only having my own array of pets since I was young but I have with horses (ive been riding since the age of 5), experience working at a veterinarian office (starting off as a receptionist and promoted to a vets assistant) and working at a pet store when I was younger. Ive also volunteered for the little shelter during my summers, along with volunteering on and off for the past 15yrs at a small rescue farm located here in Northport. I’ve been dog walking for a neighbor of mine whenever I had free time back where I was living in North Carolina before moving back home to NY due to my injury. I take the responsibility of watching over someone’s pet extremely serious, They’re not just animals to me, they’re family members and I know how trusting you have to be, not just letting a stranger into your home but to leave your pet under someone else’s care, I can greatly appreciate the trust and responsibility like this intails. During my break from flight attending I cant think of a better way to keep busy than to work with animals. (The only complaint ive ever gotten has been from my parents and my first roommate ..which was when I was younger i’d have a tendency to take home homeless, unloved animals with special needs.. from a blind llama to a 2 legged kitten..so being back home temporarily with my parents and they’re new wooden floors they are overjoyed to see me working with animals that are loved and most importantly already have homes, lol) So thats just a little bit about me..... you have Any questions..please feel free to contact me..
