Pet Sitter in New York, New York

Scottie Sheaffer is fun loving, dependable and dedicated to her tasks. She is a very hard worker, and creative in her approaches. A friend of mine, (and my cat Sophie's), I am sure she would make a great sitter and playmate for anybody's fur babies. :)

It was hard to find a pet sitter for our aging blue healer until we found Scottie. She was so patient and attentive to Kate's special needs. The way she worked to make a connection to the pet she would be watching took away the worry from our vacation. I'm happy to stop searching for a pet sitter, I know who to call!

Scottie has stayed in my home and watched my pets on several occasions. I have a crazy dog and two cats and sometimes my house feels like a zoo. She fit right in, kept them all in check and gave them lots of love. She spoiled the dog, I think he was sad to see her go but he's always happy when she comes and stays when I'm out of town.

I recently had Scottie pet sit and I can not express how happy I was with her services! We have an elderly dog with many medications and she made sure all medications were provided. We also have an elderly cat (17); the fact she sent me photos of him in his same spot comfortable with her at his side was awesome! She was also responsible for a flock of chickens.While we were discussing the needs of the chickens, she pointed out various plants that would be helpful and toxic to our chickens, which was mind blowing for me! So not only did I get a pet sitter, but an understanding of the plants that are casually grazing on our yard. She is very intelligent, nurturing, and informative considering animal needs. I would recommend Scottie to any one who needs a pet sitter!
