Pet Sitter in Brooklyn, New York

I have nine (9) years of experience as a cat and dog sitter and dog walker. I can be a calming, grounding presence for nervous animals, as well as an enthusiastic, playful presence for the ones who have lots of energy to burn! I know that every animal, like every human, has different needs and I consider myself to be very attentive to them. I probably love playing and going for walks just as much as your pet does (oops). I have some experience with positive-reinforcement training and I'm always looking to expand on my knowledge. A little about me - I recently graduated with my Master's in Educational Psychology and now I'm working at a school in Montreal. I have summers off so I'm planning on visiting my partner in NYC from July-Aug and would love to have a furry companion for the duration of my stay! Availability - Over the summer, I won't be working at my regular full-time job at all, so my schedule is quite flexible for walking, sitting or drop-ins. Routine - It's really important for me that I maintain your pet's routine while you're away, especially if I'm sitting with them overnight. If your cat or dog eats meals at 8 AM and 5 PM, that is when I'll want to feed them as well. If they're used to snuggles before bed time, I'll be the big or little spoon! I want to give them minimal disruptions and the most stability, especially if they have some separation anxiety or are sensitive to change.
