Pet Sitter in Downey, California

Hi my name is Katherine but I go by Kate (: I am currently living in Downey and am a care giver. I am very experienced with dogs. I use to work at Dogtopia up in Temecula before I moved. I worked there for about a year as a dog trainer. My day consisted of preparing specific meals for each one, grooming and training them. We had two huge rooms that could have up to 20 dogs each. They were divided up by size. We had a play area outside as well. There would be 2 trainers in each room at all times. We would constantly maintain cleanliness and interact with the animals. We crate trained them and used the command “Leave it” To end the day we’d give them dinner and distribute medication to specific dogs. The business was like a doggy daycare or hotel for the ones who stayed over night. It was a great business and very organized. I’m not trained with other animals but have owned quite a zoo over these past years. So I’m an experienced pet owner if that helps. At the moment I have two kittens, a dog and a Rose hair tarantula. I’ve also owned in the past two bearded dragons, a yellow python, a scorpion, a tortoise and of course more dogs and cats. I am very fond of animals especially the unusual ones that people wouldn’t really consider making a pet. I am a very nurturing and caring person. It’s just in my nature ❤️
