My name is Tracie. I'm a reliable, conscious woman available for house and pet sitting - long or short term. Currently, I am available in the Eugene area... and possibly further afield. EXPERIENCED HOUSE/PET SITTER: Your plants, pets and home are loved and nurtured while you're away by my loving presence and touch. My skills in basic home maintenance come in handy when house-sitting - I can deal with and recognize issues that might arise - I can tend to a running toilet, see to a plugged sink, light pilot lights and so on. I am a craniosacral therapist and previous massage therapist, so pets receive some extra-special touch in addition to petting and snuggles. A previous cat and dog owner, I get along well with both. Plants also do well with conscious attention and my green thumb. I have taken care of many dogs of varying sizes and breeds (some very old); cats/kittens, fish (fresh and saltwater tanks), lizards, cockatoo, rabbits, horses, chickens; off the grid house; mowed lawns, watered/weeded, cared for house plants; oversaw renovation of main house for two months while staying in a guest house. Administered meds to very old cat, dog. Walk and groom dogs, horses and amenable cats. Having been raised on a successful family nursery in northern Minnesota, I find plant care to be a natural and enjoyable pastime. I love the smell of soil! Herbalism is a passion. As is writing and tuning in to the heart and voice of plants, trees, animals. BONUS: I am currently offering nearly free craniosacral therapy for horses as a way to build my equine cranio experience and practice. $30 per session for gas/time or included if I'm already house-sitting for you. My work includes craniosacral therapy; transcriptionist for film-makers; editing/proof-reading/mid-wifing books to print. Am getting started here in Oregon again, my favorite state of the union, where I also plan to grow leaps and bounds in my herbal learning and multi-modality practice.
