Sarah has worked professionally with dogs and animals of all sizes and temperaments for 15 years. They have earned accreditation as CPDT-KA, AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Instructor/Evaluator, Canine Good Citizen Instructor/Evaluator, AKC Community Canine Instructor/Evaluator, AKC Urban CGC Instructor Evaluator, Dog/Cat/Small Animal CPR certification, Dog/Cat/Small Animal Emergency First Aid certification, and are currently completing coursework with the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior, where they will earn the title of VSA-CDT. In addition to intensive study regarding Canine Psychology & Science-Based Learning Theory, Sarah has studied a variety of holistic care practices regarding our canine companions, such as Canine Nutrition, Canine Massage Therapy, Canine Physical Therapy, and Grooming experience. Expertise in providing care for horses, livestock, dogs, cats, small animals, birds, & reptiles. Sarah is driven by the pursuit of continuing to learn the latest advances of Science-Based Training Methods and Practices, while working with an emphasis on a Relationship-Centric approach. Their objective is to be a guide towards symbiotic, collaborative coexistence between animals and their caretakers in an effort to strengthen communication, trust, and the bond shared between caretaker and companion. This effort further aims to keep animals in loving, supportive homes. Services may include training, behavior modification, pet boarding, pet sitting, daycare, dog walking, dog hiking, and grooming for an affordable rate.
