Offering pet sitting in your home for free or very little cost as well as affordable dog walking and part time care. I have many years of experience with many types of animals with varied needs . As a freelance writer and yoga teacher, I can spend a lot of time with your pets according to their needs, whether they're very active or just want to snuggle (or both!) and so they feel safe in your abscence. My energy is very relaxed but in control which animals sense and will help them feel secure, Besides pet sitting/walking I also have experience with senior and special needs pets, rescued and abused animals, both young and old . I can give baths or make a special meal if needed, I do holistic counseling and have some knowledge of diet and supplements for dogs as well. I can also do some "amateur" puppy/dog training. A lot of what I do, in my life in general , is based on instinct which Is probably one of the reasons I relate so strongly to animals . I've always had a deep respect how they are in harnony with the universe and their capicuty for unconditional love. This past summer I watched 5 dogs 2 turtles and a fish while training two of the puppies-the dogs ranged from 2-150 lbs.). I also watched 3 senior cats, I had a poodle mix for 20 years growing up and a pitbull/lab mix for 16 and a beta fish for 7 years. I do some volunteer work and fundraising for local shelters and I raised $6000 for the humane society in DC. Watching someones pet is like babysitting their child and just as important. It's a lot of fun but I take it seriously . I can work within your budget if needed. Although I mostly stay in the NYC metro area I will go farther away for extended amounts of time.
