My name is Ronda Altaffer and I am 50 years old. I have had animals all my life and have a special kinship with them. My one joy in life is anything to do with animals. I showed Quarter Horses with my father and mother for years, as well as did my 3 daughters. Jim and Pam Morris were their names. He broke and trained Quarter Horses for over 40 years. Thats how i used to earn my allowance was by cleaning and caring for all of our horses. My dream is to have my own "No " shelter for all animals, anything from a bird, squirrel, dog or cat. You get the idea. I even owned a tarantula for 9 years, her name was "speedy" because she was so quick. If i had to pick my favorites in the animal kingdom it would be dogs and cats. Im firever feeding strays and rescuing abused animals. I deplore animal abusers and have no sympathy for anyone that hurts a defenseless animal. You could say that i actually like and get along better with animals than i do humans. They are loyal no matter your looks, where you live, or what you where. As long as you show them love and treat them well you have a companion for life. My cat Oscar lived to be 25. I have had 2 years in college and am very intelligent, but must say i have struggled in life with lonliness and depression. I believe thats obe reason i love animals so much. I am very knowledgeable in all matters such as grooming, feeding, and even play for all kinds of animals.
