Pet Sitter in Fort Myers, Florida

My name is Sydenham Hardie ( Syd) and I was born in South Tampa Bay Florida. I grew up helping my Mom train and breed several breeds of dogs ( Brittanys ( Spaniel), Standard Poodles, Boxers, and Miniature Schnauzers ). I have been through beginner, intermediate and advanced training which also includes a significant amount of time with pro trainers on a one on one basis. I attended and graduated from Belmont Abbey College ( Belmont N.C.) on a tennis scholarship. I came back to Tampa and started a high end pro lawn care company with a long term friend. We were successful for three years. He decided to go to law school and went to work for the second largest fastener company in the U.S. I spent thirteen years in industrial distribution ( fasteners and raw steel) when I decided to go into the golf industry ( 3 1/2 yrs Legends G.C.C. and Westminster), the hospitality industry ( 3 yrs Choice Hotels S. Ft Myers). I was hired by Bob Dean supply to purchase steel (3 yrs) which brought me to downtown Fort Myers. I have lived downtown since 2010. I have worked in the restaurant business/bar and construction to make ends meet and I love it here downtown. The last two summers I have travelled to Mackinac Island, MI to work for resorts up there for six- seven months ( April- Oct/Nov). This past season I was thinking about how I could help other people in downtown Fort Myers when I started to think about all the dog training I've been through and how well I get along with dogs and that is when I came to the concept of starting my own dog walking business. Everything is going well and we are not even really in season yet. My main geographical area is from High Point condos to the Oasis condos on First street but really anywhere downtown.
