We've had Andrea and her husband care for our pets (dogs and cats) in the past. For as long as I've known her (almost 20 years), she's been a "cat person." She is so knowledgeable and dedicated -- she's done extensive research on which diets are best for cats and relates to them like no one I've ever met. She's great with people, but I think she cares even more about their cats. When my husband was ill with cancer and we could no longer be home often enough to care for our cat Lazarus, we asked Andrea if she could take him, and she agreed, so you can tell how much I trust her. She allowed us to visit Laz when we had the chance, and he was very happy in her cat-friendly household. Reliable and Caring Cat Sitter...Meet Andrea Rogers I've known her for about 6 years (2010). She's a pretty down-to-Earth kinda person. More than anything, she's a family-focused woman who absolutely loves cats. Yes, she is a crazy cat lady...currently enjoying the antics of Pusheen. Why would I refer Andrea as a cat sitter? It's second nature to her. She has 5 cats of her own that her and her husband love to spoil. One of the cats is a special needs cat and has to be kept separate - they rescued him off the streets - he nearly starved to death. Poor thing suffered some brain damage and has had difficulty socializing with other people or cats. That's okay - he has his safe forever home with them. She's very reliable. An over-achiever at times, to be sure. If you pay her to care for your cat; that's what she'll do. She's very observant - if she sees something wrong with your kitty, she'll give you call, text or email. She knows she's there to be good company to the kitty, but also to ensure their health and wellbeing. That's the peace of mind she can provide you while you're away. There's a lot of love there...and she likes helping cats and their humans. To be there for the kitties when their humans aren't able to be...that's what she has realized is an amazing calling. She spent years working in a corporate career built on efficiency, punctuality, coordination and focused determination. She achieved a Master of Science degree with honors. Now, after recovering from cancer, her career track is no longer appropriate and now she's focusing more on enjoying life and helping others...yup, you guessed it...cats and their humans. Since she was young, Andrea has had cats in her life. She made it her personal mission to be able to relate well with them when she was young; since then, she's enjoyed many wonderful relationships with the kitties in her life. She's provided medications, overnight watches and transportation for her own kitties and would love the opportunity to do so for you or your clients.
