Hi! My name is Kendra. My passion is keeping our pets, who love us unconditionally, happy, and healthy. In my care, I ensure that your beloved, furry family member will get an abundance of TLC along with the physical, social, and mental exercise that is needed to live a balanced, healthy, and happy life!
Being away from your pet can be very stressful. In today's world, many people are required to work long hours and/or travel often. This is where I can offer some help! I relate to this situation from personal experience and would love to take some stress off your shoulders by providing a loving, safe, and fun place to leave your beloved pet while you are away.
Along with a lifetime of experience taking care of dogs, I am certified in pet first aid and CPR. I am also trained and certified in dog choking & drowning. I have an ideal home with a medium sized, fenced yard which also assists with my ability to provide exceptional care for your pet. When leaving your pet in my care, you can be confident knowing he/she will be in a loving, secure, safe, and fun environment!

I am writing this letter of reference based on my first experience using Kendra’s Pet Sitting Service. It was a breeze from the start. Kendra emailed a Get‐to-know‐ you‐and‐your‐pet(s) questionnaire and scheduled a Meet‐n‐Greet session. She followed up and confirmed our appointment. All of her correspondence (before, during and after) was prompt and efficient. Upon her arrival for the Meet‐n‐Greet, Kendra introduced herself to me and to the dogs. I think it was love at first sight for two of them, and a cautious hello from the other. Kendra respected their differences and allowed the cautious one to approach her in his own time. We spent some time chatting and took a quick tour of her house. I felt very confident that our dogs were going to be taken care of and loved while we were away. During our travels, Kendra checked in with occasional update text messages and pictures. They all looked happy as could be. In my opinion, Kendra’s service charges a fair rate. That, combined with the ability of being able to keep the dogs in a home environment, makes it an easy decision to utilize Kendra’s service in the future!

It was such a pleasure to meet Kendra. I knew she was a conscientious pet guardian, the first conversation we had. I picked up on her gentleness with her own animals right away.

When I asked her to help me with a couple of my dog walks, she proved to be a good fit as well.
I walk several difficult dogs, and Kendra offered to jump right in, on helping me with the socialization of one my challenging dogs. Kendra showed the patience and observational skills needed to be a dog walker in today’s world. Her passion comes thru in conversation and body language to the dogs. The dogs love her, and Kendra has the professionalism, and common sense that I would trust with any of my dogs personal or professional.
On a people level, I found Kendra’s listening skills and a genuine care for animals to be one her her greatest strengths.

Deciding where to board my 1 ½ year old Border Collie, Sammie, for two weeks was a big decision. I visited some traditional kennels and felt he would be unhappy. I just couldn’t leave him caged up in a ‘doggy den” and didn’t feel like he would get the amount of attention he needed. I am so happy to have found Kendra. From our first phone conversation to our initial visit, everything felt so right. I could tell by the way he took to her when we first met that he would be in good hands. He is usually a bit nervous around people he first encounters but he went straight to her when she greeted him.
She sent many pictures, quick videos and updates to let me know how he was doing. He spent a lot of time outdoors and playing backyard games. He even spent a day playing at the beach. I feel extremely comfortable leaving him with her and now I can go on weekend getaways with my girlfriend and feel like I am giving him a mini vacation of his own. I know that he is being well cared for and have complete trust in her abilities to keep him safe and happy!

Kendra is awesome with our two dogs! They love her and her home so much. We are so grateful to have her to take care of them while we are out of town. She truly loves dogs! She has also taken care of our cats when we are away. It is very obvious she is an avid animal lover! I can’t recommend her enough if you are looking for a very trustworthy person to love your animals.
