Pet Sitter in Barrie, Ontario

Hi there, my name is Sharon. I am a 46 year old professional who has worked at home as a Project Manager in Software Development for the past 7 years. I have 2 sons aged 24 and 26, one of which still lives with me the other currently resides in Nova Scotia. We have a female 2 year old hound mix. She's been highly socialized and gets along with all dogs, cats and even chickens. We don't have a cat but have done some house sitting where there are cats in the house, she is generally good with them but I'll admit if a cat runs she thinks it's a game and chases them. If the cat is the boss of the house she is scared to death of them and will respect their space. We'eve had Bindi since she was 8 weeks old but I also have experience with assiting to raise a litter of pups. My partner and I bred his female German Sherpard, unfortunately when the litter was just under 2 weeks old the mom rejected the litter, so guess who took over! Yep, we actually slept on the floor next to the litter and woke up to bottle feed them every two hours. We kept 2 of the males, one of which is now 96 pounds! I work from home full time so this gives me the flexibility of coming to your home for overnight care while you are away, this is my primary focus. However if you need occasional dog walking or check in's during the day or night as long as I'm not away at another home we can make that work as well. I can bring my girl Bindi (the hound mix) with me if that works for you but I can leave her with the boys if your animal is not comfortable around other animals.
