This past May of 2017, I graduated with my degree from Delgado's Registered Veterinary Technology Program. Furthermore, I plan to extend my education and obtain my Bachelors in Applied Science in Allied Health soon after receiving my license. Well, it sounds so generic, but I've always had this passion for animals though my old-fashioned parents didn't always appreciate the idea of me going for this as my career. I finally decided to switch my major from nursing to veterinary technology in 2014, and began my journey. I started off as a receptionist and worked my way up as a animal handler, a veterinary assistant, and now I work as a veterinary technician at a clinic in Mid-City, New Orleans.
