Pet Sitter in Alexandria, Virginia

I am offering my services as a pet sitter solely for birds. I love working with cockatiels, conures, amazons, grays, macaws. I worked as a pet care associate and manager at Petsmart for three years, where I handled all maintenance of the avian and small animal pets in the store. I have bred my own cockatiels and have had up to 13 birds in my apartments. 11 cockatiels, a Senegal and a Plum Headed Parakeet. I always had trouble finding anyone that knew how to take care of my birds and so I am offering my services as I can no longer have birds in my apartment. This will prevent any cross contamination from my house to yours if any disease or pathogen is present. My degree is in Biology from the University of Virginia. I would have to meet your birds before you entrust them to me while you are gone, this is to make sure that we are compatible, as I know there are various birds that do not like one sex or the other in some cases.
