Nice to meet you! My name is Kayla and I am a recent graduate at Northern Illinois University, earning my BMA in music performance (cello). I also love to read, write, and go on hikes/camping trips. I have extensive experience in caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds. My family bred dogs for around 5 years and I was one of the primary caretakers for the puppies! We also found a family of abandoned cats in our backyard and gave most of them homes, keeping two for ourselves, which taught me cat care, as well. I also owned hamsters and cockatiels and took care of them myself; my family also collectively owned 7 birds in my lifetime. Probably the most obvious statement in the world, but I love animals! I know how to teach obedience and good behavior in a gentle but firm manner. People are always commenting on how well-behaved (but super fun) my cats are! Animals gravitate toward me quickly after meeting, and tend to continue this behavior long after meeting! I can't wait to care for your furry babies!
