Pet Sitter in Westfield, Indiana

Hi, I'm Clarissa! I currently attend high school in Westfield, Indiana. For over the first half of my life, I lived in Virginia, which is where my interest in animals became noticeable. I was always very adamant on trying to convince my parents to let me get my own puppy, kitten, hamster, and practically any other animal you can think of. I used tactics that I thought would be impossible to say no to, such as powerpoints or mini research papers. Although, if you were to ask my mom, you'd learn that they were definitely possible to decline, but it's the thought that counts, right? Personally, I’ve been the owner of 2 chinchillas, a hamster, 2 cats, a variety of fish and frogs, a bird (budgie), and a ball python. Throughout the 17 years of my life, I've acquired experience with cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, chinchillas, snakes, ferrets, fish, and hamsters/other small mammals. The interest in animals of all shapes and sizes that I acquired as a child has placed me in a variety of scenarios that I never would’ve thought I’d find myself in. I began volunteering at a chinchilla rescue around the age of 13 and helped take care of their 60-something chinchillas for about a year or two. I've had jobs where I've stayed overnight for a week, house-sitting and dog-sitting, so that is not a new concept to me. If overnight pet-sitting is something desired, I'd be more than willing to help out as best as I can. I've also worked with animals of all ages. I've kept watch over elderly dogs at the same time that I've kept watch over younger puppies, so I find myself to be skilled in regard to knowing the appropriate treatment for each individual animal. If desired, I can transport your animal to a dog park, the vet, or other desired locations with ease. I'm also comfortable with bathing the animal is desired, and/or necessary. I'm an athletic person, so an energetic dog that requires a lot of exercise will never be problematic. I enjoy creating new things, so with your permission, it’d be likely of me to occasionally bring some homemade treats or toys to surprise your beloved, furry family member with.
