Hello, my name is Ally!! I have had cats my entire life and have cared for them on my own for over 10 years. I currently have two kitties under 1 year old, and I love them with all of my heart!! My experience includes feeding (wet & dry food, treats), cleaning and changing litter boxes, changing water bowls, cleaning up all accidents, playing with many toys, giving oral liquid medications, and providing all the love I possibly can. I have more recently cared for dogs of all energy levels, ages, needs, and breeds. I have walked, played with, fed (wet & dry food, treats), cleaned up after, and provided lots of love for dogs. While I am fairly new to administering medicines (for cats and dogs), I am happy to learn and provide the care required for your fur baby. I have administered eye drops & liquid oral medicine, applied topical ointments, provided basic skin & fur maintenance, and put medicine into pet food. Additionally, I have had fish for my entire life. I have experience feeding them, cleaning out their tank, and (unfortunately) safely and quickly removing them when they have passed. I have a recurring client with a chinchilla as well, so feeding, changing hay/water, and giving love to smaller pets are a breeze for me. I am happy to learn how to care for any other pets you may have; my lack of experience only brings me a greater willingness to learn. I understand each pet has a different personality. Rather than attempt to make your pet fit a mold, I will learn their preferences and make sure to respect their boundaries. Do you have a cuddly pet? Well I am happy to pet them and give them kisses for hours. Does your pet prefer to have their space? I am happy to wait until I am approached before interacting with them, or even just providing them with their needs before letting them return to their preferred solace. Each pet deserves to be treated, respected, and cared for in their individual ways. No matter your pet's personality, I will provide this love and respect. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, your pet's level of playfulness, friendliness around other pets/humans, level of affection, and anything that must/must not happen to ensure your pet's happiness and safety. If you need me to research how to do something I have not before (administer a certain medicine, secure a custom crate/leash, etc.), please let me know at least 18 hours ahead of time so I can acquire the knowledge I need. Schedule I recently went back to a 9-5, Mon-Fri job to mitigate inflation costs, so I am unable to provide care for your pets during those hours, but petsitting is one of my passions. I also run my own YouTube channels, voice act, and sing, but I am happy to work those around you and your pet's schedule. Additionally, I am a night owl and can provide unconventional hours (10:00p.m.-6:00a.m); rather than have a house sitter, I can show up for nighttime feedings/medicines/walks/visits when needed. Safety Measures I have pet sitter insurance outside of Rover’s coverage. I am happy to provide my insurance certificate on request. While in your home, I will ensure nothing is left out that will harm or hinder your pets' happiness. Nothing will be in their way or on their toys. I work around them and their habits. I open doors slowly and attentively to ensure no one runs out. I fully close the doors immediately once entering and leaving. On walks, your pet will always walk on the inside. If we are near any cars or other pets, I will keep them on a shorter leash to ensure their safety. I am attentive and will do my best to stop them from eat anything on the streets. Your pet will always be on a leash/in a secure carrier unless they are inside. If your pet likes car rides, I am happy to go for a drive so long as the proper safety equipment is provided. For any other parameters, I will happily follow your instructions (set temperatures, access/barriers to certain areas of your home, lighting/sound settings, etc.).
