Pet Sitter in Warminster, Pennsylvania

I have extensive experience with animals, especially dogs. For as long as I can remember my family has owned a dog. My parents purchased a German Shepherd/Border Collie Mix when I was 4 years old. My mom chose to name her Brandy. From the time I was 10 until I was 14 my family adopted a few guinea pigs. For my 10th birthday my parents had bought a guinea pig at a pet store. I named him Peek-A-Boo but sadly he passed away 3 days later due to an upper respiratory infection he caught from the pet store. After he passed, we adopted a couple from the ASPCA. Then, when I was 15 years old I adopted a puppy from a local rescue. She is a German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd Mix named Jazmin. She was and still is solely my responsibility. I was responsible for feeding her, walking her, taking out to go to the bathroom, and I also was responsible for taking her to obedience class. Brandy was also a huge help in mentoring Jazmin on how to be a good dog. Sadly, we had to put Brandy down in 2009 at the age of 13 years old. In September of 2009 my boyfriend and I adopted a bunny. She is a mini-rex (super soft) named Babs. Her and Jazzy are best friends and actually get along really well (meaning Jazzy doesn’t eat her.) They are both my responsibility. I clean Babs’ cage, feed them both, give them both water, and play with both of them, making sure they get enough exercise. Besides taking care of my own animals, I also help out at my mom’s work. She works for a dog grooming service in Horsham that offers daycare and boarding. I am able to volunteer some of my time to play with the dogs and clean out the cages. I have also watched family and friends’ pets on many different occasions. I took a short course in how to take care of a horse as well. I am the biggest animal lover in the entire world, and know and have what it takes to care for them.
