I am a young female living in the Nashville area who is home for the summer. Since I am a college student, I cannot have pets, but I love to take care of them! My family has owned dogs and cats and I believe that they must be cared for like children because they cannot feed or let themselves out. I will put 100% into taking care of each animal that has been entrusted into my care. I work as a host at a restaurant and I am typically free during the day. I am happy to spend the night with animals that need around the clock care. Keeping in touch with an animal's emotions is key to safety and establishing a connection. When it comes to cats, I believe that letting them make the first move is the best approach to making them feel comfortable with a stranger. With dogs, you need to establish dominance in order to maintain control.
