I have passed a background check when I became a volunteer at The Lewisville Animal Shelter, so you can rest assure that you furry friend will be safe with me. Let's get together at the Dog Park & do a Meet & Greet with our pups in a neutral location. We want you & your doggie to feel comfortable with being with us. -In MY HOME Boarding Service: I am very attentive to guests. The first day of their stay is the most important to make them feel safe and secure and loved. I observe their body language carefully and will console if the doggie experiences separation anxiety. I have been very fortunate to have great dogs here and all of them learn how to use a doggie door even if they have never seen one before! All of my dogs get along very well with new dogs. Blaze, my Aussie, acts older than his age, very calm, and he is always first to be introduced because he gets along so well with all energy level dogs. My German Shepherd/Golden Retriever puppy (8 mos. as of Nov.2014) is very energetic & will try to play ball with everyone but if they are disinterested or not as playful as he is, he gets the hint and backs away to give them their space. Once, Blaze & Bentley have been introduced to the guest(s); Bam, the Papillon, is introduced lastly to the guest dogs. He is new to our home/pack and he is always fine because Blaze runs the house & Blaze is tells him all is ok. Bam can be a bit of a drama queen but I think he must have come from a less than desirable home because he follows me everywhere like he is afraid I'm going to leave him. He has come so far in the few months he’s been here and I'm happy to give him a forever home where he feels safe & loved, he’s truly a “rescue dog”. Dogs are fed separately to ensure safety in case your dog may have food aggressions. ****I will request your email address, upon contact for a Meet or Stay Request, so that you may review my Host Questionnaire Form, completion only required upon booking. The Form answers questions that help me know what you & your dog's needs are so that I may provide the best possible care for your pet. **** -OVERNIGHT IN YOUR HOME PET SITTING SERVICE: I can pet sit at your home. An example of a schedule for your dog(s) for “In YOUR Home” schedule would be: 1. Letting them out in the morning for potty break & giving breakfast if your pet is fed twice daily. 2. A late afternoon check-in for dinner & potty break and walks if needed. 3. Returning in evening for the overnight stay, potty break, play time, and then bed. If you are needing a sitter to stay/visit your home instead of boarding at my house please let me know when contacting me. A personalized quote will need to be prepared if your home is more than 10 miles from my home there will be additional gas expense. Also, if you would like additional services such as light cleaning, mail retrieval, etc. This service is a minimum of $50/night up to 3 dogs, each additional dog is $15. Holidays & additional services are extra, ask for a quote. (If on a holiday $20.) Example: 4 dogs on Thanksgiving Eve/Day $50 $15 2... -CHECK-IN SERVICE: Check-In Services is usually 3 times a day. Once in the morning, late afternoon/early evening, and then close to bedtime. At each check in a potty break & a good petting will be completed. Your schedule can be customized to fit you and your pet(s) needs. This service cost is based on the number of check-ins required & up to 3 Dogs. 4 or more dogs / more than 10 miles from my home / holidays are additional & will require a personalized quote. 1 Check-In (within 10 miles of my home) = $15.00 (if on a holiday, $20.) 2 Check-Ins ( ") = $14.50 * ... (if on a holiday $20.) 3 Check-Ins (") = $14.00 * ... (if on a holiday $20) -PICK UP/DROP OFF YOUR PET BY HOST SERVICE: I can pick up and/or drop off your pet(s) if you need. I have clients that love this service & ease of planning for their trips. This service makes the transition less stressful for owners with a lot of "to do's" before vacationing and easier for the pets because they are usually very excited about taking a ride in the car. **STAYS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. ** I apologize if I have had any correspondence with you & then my booking became full. Please understand, as Hosts, we get a lot of people saying they're going to book a stay & then don't. Financially, we cannot hold a spot if someone else is willing to confirm. Nothing personal, I wish I could keep all the doggies but then they wouldn't receive the best care & attention they deserve if I had too many dogs. ***Stays over 24 hours, would require an additional fee. One day of booking is calculated in 24 hour periods. If it's within one hour late/early for pick up/drop off that is perfectly acceptable, no charge, just notify the host please. Hosts have families & plans outside of our job as hosts please be considerate and keep in contact if you anticipate early/late arrival. For Example: If an owner drops their dog(s) off at 6:00PM on Monday day for a 24 hour stay, then it is expected that the owner will pick up their pet between 5:00PM & 7:00PM the following day, keeping in contact with the host on anticipated time changes is appreciated. If you need to have additional time added to your stay but not a full 24 hours, then please expect 50% charge for the additional time over approximately one hour. Such as... If your stay of one dog is $25.00 for one day then you need additional time (over 1 hour) $12.50 needs to be added to your quote.*** HOLIDAYS: I'm available most holidays but booked quickly and will require an additional fee. Some of the holidays are: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, Easter, Memorial & Labor Days, July 4th, etc. Some of the holidays I will only board in my home 2 guests, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Usually the holidays are $20 additional per day for Check-Ins & Your Home Sitting. Boarding at my home is $20/per dog additional cost. My Host Questionnaire Form has a little more detailed Policies and Procedures and will be e-mailed to you as soon as you have made a request for a Meet & Greet or a Stay.
