Hello! My name is Samantha Scardino and I am a 24-year-old recent graduate and I have always had a great love for all animals! I've always had pets, mainly dogs, but I've also had hamsters, mice, fish, turtles, sugar gliders, and more! I've worked a lot of different jobs, all in different kinds of care (both children and animals). In early 2014 I got a job in my career field and was hired for a project as a graphic and multimedia artist for a vet company. After finishing the project I ended up working for the partnering vet company as guest services and doggy daycare team. I currently work with that same vet facility and continue to grow in learning how to give proper care to animals. Because of my animal care, and artistic work I am very versatile in what I can do. My care giving positions make me creative, social, understanding, very tolerant with people/animals, and have the ability to work under pressure. My artistic and design positions allowed me to be capable of working well in creative collaborations, and meeting deadlines. I work well as a team and independently with no problems as well as working with time constraints. I follow through with instructions and excel once I get into a well-organized routine. My communication skills also allow me to work with customers and other team members effectively. Being a recent graduate, I am on the look out for opportunities where I can grow as a professional and use my skills to build upon in a professional work environment.
