About Me: Hey yall, My name is Christy. I am a Texas girl who started pet sitting 2 years as a side job during my transition out of a long, but rewarding career in EMS. I started with simple drop ins, dog walks, and errands and my client base quickly blossomed. It was not long before I began taking on overnight sits on short and a long term basis. I absolutely love what I do and I am eagerly looking forward to my next adventure. I have a multitude of experience with elderly dogs and cats, as well as those that have special needs such as blindness, deafness, may require medication, special food preparation, or just need an extra watchful eye on them. The safety and welfare of your pet and your peace of mind while you are away are my top priority. I will treat your home and personal property as if it were my own and I will honor your privacy at all times. Description of Skills: I will take care of feeding, provide play time, cuddles, walks, litter box cleaning, brushing, medication, vet visits if needed, leash walks, and long hikes if this is what your pet requires. I understand the importance of maintaining your pets normal routine in your absence. I will maintain a calm and reassuring demeanor while interacting with your pet as well as respect their personal space. In your home I will maintain a tidy environment, water your plants, provide basic pool care such as monitoring water level and turning on filter, collect your mail, and clean up after myself. I will gladly take on any special request if needed, and lastly I will always be keeping a close eye on potential safety issues and keep the doors locked at all times. Since I am a traveler I prefer overnight stays and longer assignments, but I am willing to consider all scenarios, and I am also flexible. I am not on a time limit so if your trip runs over I have you covered. I am eager to learn how to care for horses, pigs, goats, livestock and exotic pets. I always welcome an opportunity to learn something new. I can provide references and letters of recommendation upon request.
