I am a mature young woman with a passion for animals of all kinds, domestic, barnyard and exotics alike. I hold a degree in Animal Sciences and have had all kinds of pets such as dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, chinchillas and rodents. Cats are my absolute favorite and I've also loved horses since I was a small child. As a teenager I volunteered with quarter horses, providing hay, stall maintenance, and pasture clean up, when there was extra time I often groomed the horses as well. I worked at Kilby Historic Site and Farm where I was in charge of daily care of their animals, which included ducks, chickens, turkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits and even a jersey dairy cow. After that I worked at a boarding kennel with dogs and cats and was responsible for feeding all the animals, cleaning kennels and providing special diets and medications as required. I am capable of caring for senior dogs and cats that may have special requirements such as eye drops, insulin shots, or any other meds and pride myself in sticking to a strict medication/feeding schedule as required. I'm willing to provide a criminal record check if requested, I am honest and responsible, you can be rest assured that your property, pets and belongings will be safe with me.
