Pet Sitter in Montrose, Colorado

Hi there my name is Jennifer, but you can just call me Jen. I am looking for an animal caregiver position in Montrose, Colorado. I hope to apply my skill and on the job training, as well as my love of all animals, but most extra special to me are dogs, we have always had a special connection, to caring for your pet while you are on vacation, have a working weekend out of town or a family event. I’m also available for a job with a dog or animal boarding or rescue etc. facility where I wouldn’t be required to tend to humans. My availability is flexible. I will take care of dog feeding, facilitating exercise up to an 8 mile walk per day (we can discuss your pets needs), and waste pickup as needed. I can stay overnight for pet sitting and house sitting. I have cared for a few large kennels of Huskies, breeding, whelping and other puppy care. I have experience with giving medications in various forms. I cleaned kennels and yards as well as minor maintenance and sled dog racing and training. I worked with a vet kennel crew briefly, fed and walked dogs, picked up waste, bathed dogs for owner pickup of kenneled dogs and for grooming. Tended to post-op and sick or old dogs. Fed, watered and cleaned litter for cats. Have cared for and/or owned animals of all types. On top of this, I am willing to travel. Depending on distance and weather we can discuss this further.
