Hello, My name is Judy. I have had pets all of my life, and got my start on a small 10 acre farm. I will consider any pets. I am the proud mama of 2 neurotic rescue parrots, 1 lovely old lady cat, and I was just gifted a new baby kitty when mama cat left her in my yard. Love dogs, but the other kids don't approve! So it would be a nice treat for me. I am willing to give medications and tend to wounds or any other special care that your baby needs. I have about 30 years of Parrot experience.I have to meet all birds first and see if they feel comfortable with me. They can be picky as am sure you know. McCaws might be a bit too big of bird for me, but I am willing to care for them in an emergency situation. I can allow them out of cage time and dancing and TV snuggle time. But they just always end up on my head if I hold them! I own an African Grey and I am great with these sensitive babies. I also own a Blue Front Amazon. They are both rescue birds and a great joy to my life. But I understand that you most likely will get bit at some point, and I know how to avoid injury to myself. Also I can calmly handle the pain and wait until they let go. I have had other animal lover friends with rats, iguanas, snakes, and fish as family. So I am willing to care for these types of animals and will follow your instructions exactly. I do not have enough experience for venomous types of pets. I have to care for my own babies 2 solid hours per day typically between the hours of 3PM to 5PM, but can be a bit flexable here. Other than this I am flexable to pop in and out of your home or stay overnight. I don't have a fenced yard or large home, so only small dogs are ok around here.
